According to the Kawasaki parts site, the hubs and axles are not the same based on part number. The thing is if there is enough clearance in the forks to fit the 130/90-16 tire you can get a rim laced up quite easily. Get spokes and rim from a place like Buchanon's Wheels or some other.
Yea, pretty sure you can do it, but will need the caliper, rotor etc. from the 800 Classic. I'm pretty sure the forks are the same except for the lack of covers on the 800 'A' model. Triple trees are the same part#'s anyway.
