It seems I'm about the only one posting tonight (the new guy who can't shut up), but while I'm feeling sappy and sentimental, I thought I'd tell you guys how much I appreciate the advice and helpful info. I've never been mechanically inclined, but y'all have inspired me to do a few maintenance things on my own. I learn a lot everyday and much of it is because of you. I guess I'd better shut 'er down before I ruin my keyboard with tears!

I'm getting all misty now. I too have found this board a great place to chit chat, learn, laugh and just meet new friends. Your not the first and most likely not the last to share these sentiments. One of the reasons I come here so often is the feeling I get of belonging to a large community if not family...Thanks to you too Dawg..

I think it's good to turn around and tell people thank you for your help as we all have tapped into this place and good people for advice. Nothing wrong with that and I for one have respect for others who can voice that openly.

P.S. You can buy one of those clear keyboard covers that'll keep the tears out. LOL :)

No, Mr. Makenzie 71, you're probably not the only one. But they are, from what I understand, over on the Honda site. May I suggest...........However, should you ever need some OTHER friendly advice, or just a friend, you're more then welcome here, anytime. Ride long, rest, repeat

hey dawg,
I agree with you whole heartedly. I stumbled onto this web forum last fall and have enjoyed, and appreciated the folks here since then. It's great how one thing (Ride Green) can bring together such a diverse crowd. People who I may otherwise never have had the oppurtunity to talk to.
I enjoy reading the opinions of everyone who posts here. It makes you realize who else is out there in this world. I also really enjoy the help and advice from the pool of riders here.
I can't think of one time where I have not found an answer (or few) to a question, query, or problem that I had.
I am looking forward to eventually meeting some of you all on rides in the upcoming years. I am already "green" with envy of those who are gong to Montana this summer. (still holding out hope to work a few flex days and make the trip)
Anyway, I don't want to be the cause of you all running low on tissue. So I will cut it short now, and tip my helmet to you all.
Have a good one,
Carlo.

I agree. I took on some projects I never would have done and actually got stuck on a couple, but people here gave me the info or where to get it. I am all finished and very proud of my bike, and appreciate all the help and advice.

Dang, we are an INSPIRING lot, aren't we?? :?

We must be doing something right to have someone say the "board sucks"...but who gives a c*** about the minority opinion?? Not me.

This group is an excellent resource to beginners and sages alike...heck, if Kawasaki was smart (and I think they are) they would have someone read this stuff for feedback on their product (also some after-marketers should, too).

I LUV YOU, GUYS........not

Hey Mr MAKENZIE 71. I owe you a HUGE apology !! I JUST DID catch that little tiny "kidding" at the very bottom of your VERY long screen. My mistake for zipping thru it, and then feeling that I had the right to get a "little testy". I will gladly accept three strikes with the whip, and still buy you a drink, K? :(

T-Man, Makensie was joking, thus the "Kidding......." at the end of his post.

Dawg, getting sentimental is okay especially with a group this awesome. I have never been one to have a computer "addiction" until I stumbled upon this site. I think Spok said it best about having a "feeling of belonging to a large community if not family" which is exactly what we do have here. There are many times that I'm feeling discouraged or downright ticked off about Sassy. I know that she'd have been running last month if I still lived around all of my friends in MI who would jump in and help me get her running in a weekend. Then I remember that I have at least 20 friends that are a computer screen away that are cheering me on, "KNOWING" that she'll be running soon. You don't find that very often in this day and age. I do not have a great deal of patience, but I've learned that deep down I do have perseverance, and that is what is going to get her running. And then I'll have the forum, and myself to thank!
Pass me a glass of that wine would ya?! :)
