I really like that. That front end is a huge difference visually and looks good on the bike, I wouldn't have guessed it would look as good. Did you notice a big difference in the twisties? I also like using the grey seat, it really goes well with the paint, can't wait to see it when you've finally run out of $$.

IMO the raked front end makes all the diff in the world looks wise. The bike looks more substatial. As for handling I have had it leaned over enuff to s****e the kick stand bracket and she hugged the road just fine. I actually am getting the paint re-done in same color, have a few small issues(but I will wait a while). Only other things I need to do is cold air intake, and istall the Power Commander III I got(on EBay for $96 BRAND NEW DELIVERED) then putting a 190 rear tire on it, and possibly having the rims polished. I will add a bit of chrome here and there but on the whole I am happy.

Any suggestions?

Good idea on the 190, I was thinking about a 200 but too many people have been disappointed and I'm headed that way. How much did you lower the rear, 1"? I think you've got a great recipe for this bike.

Have you thought about maybe making it a rigid? I saw these cool looking twisted rote iron (sp?) chrome plated shock replacements on a Baron's bike in a magazine a couple of months ago. They used the twisted rote iron to replace the shocks and it looked FN hot. You could really drop the rear with that setup and have the fender hugging the 190.

GS, think about relocating the rectifier, not that difficult and it will make a huge difference IMO. I tucked it up inside the frame which didn't require any rewiring, just made up a mounting plate from an old aluminum license plate back.

yeah, that rectifier sticks out like a sore thumb...it'll be crisp and clean with it tucked up outta the way. I like that my V&H pipes came with a relocation kit.

All in all, very sharp ride GS...very sharp

It is on the list. First order is install the PC III this weekend. Need to check my cooling fan it is not coming on at red lights, but then it aint hot yet.
I have never heard my cooling fan run...even last summer on a few 90 degree days, but the bike never overheated. BTW..Great looking bike!
