Recently my wife suggested I sell my ZX-12r. It only has 1,025 miles since I bought it new In 2000. So I understand her suggestion.
when we ride we use our mean streak 1500 that is much more comfy for her. My dilemma is how much is this bike worth?
it just was serviced locally for new power commander 3, oil change, and new rubber And all points service check.
the local guys are so amazed at how this is like new showroom condition. I know this is a unicorn but I cannot find any bikes for sale that are comparable. Any ideas or suggestions as to where I can market this bike?

Most buyers will go to NADA or Kelly BlueBook to assess value. Servicing, tires, oil, etc. should play no part in your pricing as those costs are simply part of the price of ownership. Extras you should expect 10% of what you paid, after all these are extras not necessities. Plus it's 20 yrs old!

I'd search for a ZX12R specific forums and look there without asking. You might even join to post it for sale. Members will let you know if it's too much typically with "GLWS".

Interesting! That is a crazy low mileage. It is not even run in as 12R's had a running in period of 2000mile because of the Linerless electroplated cylinders. It is difficult to say the price but the 12R is becoming a collectors piece so you may be suprised at how much you can get for it.
