Been posting for a short time already, but have not gotten around to formally introducing my existance.
Hello to you all out there in cyclespace, I stumbled onto this forum while looking for parts for my 2004 Mean streak which i purchased this past September and so far have found it to be a great service, as well as a bit of comic relief. (i have also jumped on my little soapbox a couple of times already in here)
Anyway, i am 35, love to ride, addicted to my first "cruiser" , live in the Okanagan Valley of southern B.C. with my great girlfriend (soon to have her own 2-wheeled ride) and our 3 nutty cats. I own a small medical supply retail store, love to camp and fly-fish, and I am aching to get back on the bike. Unfortunately right now there is quite a bit of snow outside and it's about -20'C (-4'F appx.)
If there is anyone out there who is "close" to my little part of the world, drop a line and once the snow has left we can hook up for a ride.
I can see that this is going to be a great community to belong to, best wishes to all of you and hope to see you on the road (eventually).

Carlo Ferrari.

Hi Carlo and Welcome! :) Maybe I said that before? LOL

I hear you about the weather. Frigid cold sounds like the order of the next week or so for you and some of us just below you on the Frost - O - Meter.

I haven't ridden in a few weeks now and I think I'm beginning to repeat myself...I'm beginning to repeat myself...I'm beginning to repeat myself. LOL See!

I changed the oil and filter on my Classic last weekend just so I felt like I was doing something with the bike. Poor thing just sits there needing to be ridden and the owner who is getting depressed about not doing so is beginning to repeat himself...repeat himself...repeat himself. :) and not riding at all.

Some day right?

Carlo,

Welcome to the forum.....I have had several warm days, but had to stay inside and paint my livingroom. This morning woke up to 30f temps, but dry and cloudy. Might go for a ride this afternoon. Get bike fever if I don't ride regular

Heather,

I think it's been about 3 to 4 weeks ago now. :(

I read your posts with envy since I know you and others have been riding. You all are very lucky people. :)

Whistle,

No wonder you have road fever  Had a chance to ride today, but didn't...washed and waxed my car instead. Going down to Atlanta to look for a job next week in a clean car.
