The specs call for:

MN90-18 Front
MR90-18 Rear

I don't know anything about motorcycle tires. What does the MN and MR stand for? Do the replacement tires have to have the exact same designations?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

you can put whatever 18" tire ya want. just make sure they are either both bais-ply or radials.
been awhile since ive seen what the letters mean. would have to dig out my notes and see what they say. lol

The KZ-1000 P sieres Police bike use a special bead retention tire(they are designed to carry the weight of the KZ). These tires will also run flat up to 55 MPH and not come off the rim. They can only be bought from Kawasaki and they are high Dollar. as far as I know you can run other tires (I have seen other tires on P sieres bikes)as long as they have the same load and speed ratting.

my 91 kzp has a 120 rear

A KZ1000 will wobble like a hippo in heat on radials. The frame is a limp noodle.
100/90-19 or 3.50-19 on the front. A 120/90 (or 80) 18 on the rear. I recommend a Bridgestone S-11. The P model is too heavy for a Bridgestone BT45.
