I love mine, I own two other jakets and this is the bulkiest but with the liner in its good to 30ish degree weather. Better touring than quick trip.

Thanks. What do you mean that it's better for touring than quick trip? Is it cumbersome to put on/take off?

Yeah, its almost kind of like a parka, it goes below your waist. When I'm just going on a short trip/cruising I prefer to wear just a single zipper non adjustable sleeve type jacket. If you just want to buy one jacket this would be the one I would go with, w/the liner in its good in cold, w/it out and vents
open its good in warm. It has good pockets and that price is about 20$ cheaper than I paid in the store. Its kinda like helmets, I have a full face I wear in cold or on the highway, I like the half helmet for warm, short trips or just cruising. If I could only have 1, I'd go with the full face.

Cortech/Tourmaster jackets are nicely made. I have one of the denims, and the fit and construction of the thing are first rate.

You might also like the Firstgear Kilimanjaro.
Similiar concept as the Transition, fits a little differently.
