Same boat

I'm in the same boat as you. I bought a 500R at the beginning of the summer and I'm already craving something more sporty and quick. I've been looking at the Suzuki GSX, or Kawi 600R.

I'll most likely sell my 500R in Oct. or wait until next year and trade it in at the dealer.

This is why I'm so glad I bought my EX250 first. I really want a zx-6r and I would have had a really hard time justifying trading in something like a 500r if I had bought that first. Now, when the time comes, I can go straight to what I'm after!!!!

Sorry, but in the 600 cateory I would have to disagree with you and go with an R-6. It handles much better than the RR and R. The Ninja does have a screaming engine, but that doesn't do much when you get into a corner. All of the 600's are very close in straight ahead performance at this point. It's not like in the old days where there were huge differences in engine performance.

I am looking into a 600 class CC bike.... for next season or the one after
*shut up plutonium :lol: *, and I talked to my cousin who had the R6 and he said it has to be one the best 600 class bikes he has ever rode. So I think I made my mind about getting the R6 when I get the money, and I think that it will be a good investment

I would not say the R-6 handles so much better, not until i still some laterail G testing. Poeple say Gixxers handle the best, yet its all they've ever ridden.

i think its just what the rider fits into the most. so dont go by what magazines say or anything else. its like a glove. no one glove fits everybody because everybodys fingers are not the same. a gixxer could be better in the corners with a certain person on it, yet the r6 will be better with a different person on it. if they all handled the exact same, it wouldnt be justifiable having arguments which one is better. it would be a name and looks.
