hello all,
well I took my bike to a mechanic and I was told that there was no spark so I did some electrical checks of my own. When I checked the coils they were fine, I also checked the pick-up coil and it too was good. However, when I check the junction box I was a little confused on the readings I saw and the readings I should have. When I did the first tests, that is 1-1a, the reading I was to have was 0, but I recieved a 1. I not sure how to interpret this reading so any help would be greatly appreciated.

SPARK

Go directly to pulling the spark plugs and pull them. Find a wire with an aligator clip on both ends and a good ground for one end and the bottom "L" protrusion on the sparkplug for th other end, then in the dark like in the garage or at dusk crank the engine over to see if you have a white-blue spark or a redish yellow or no spark at all...check all of your plugs...Not sure what bike, or other symptoms you have. IF yor battery is low or dead you will not have a good spark either...
