well, that was quite the read. he has some really good points coming from his numbers, but i am not completely sold yet. definitely food for thought, thanks Sarge.
I agree with you ispeed. I guess each individual has to make his/her own assessments based on the info provided, then when all that info has been digested, try to make an intelligent decision.
I saw this report a couple of years ago in the car forums. The report was based on oil type filters used in a very dusty environment. Would like to see a comparison on normal use on everyday roads.

Also saw this one at the same time. They said Fram went to cardboard after moving their manufacturing to Mexico? Another good reason to buy products made in the USA.
