Hey dude, I have one tooooo same year and everything. :lol: I love mine. It a smooth ride with plenty of power.

Mine is a gold edition. The frame is black with gold pin stripes and gold powder coat shocks and wheels.

Hey, where are you from? Your profile is missing your location (city, state). I checked out your route and it looks like you passed right through my city (Huntsville, AL) at about waypoint 30! Did you ride on the Natchez Trace while you were in the area?

updated my profile, went N. to 64 through Florence, got just a taste of the Parkway(way cool), contiued east, came in the Northside of Chattanogia.

Next time you come east...stop by and see us.....we are about 1 hour south of Loiusville,KY on I65.....we have some great windies and twisties out here.

How did you manage to acquire 2 Spectres????? They are great bikes. I fell in love with mine at first sight....Drove 700 miles out of our way to look at it. We were on vacation in Burlington, VT when the owner called me to say the person that was supposed to buy it backed out, so we did a B-line a Ann Arbor Michigan to look at it. I paypaled the money to buy the bike after I took it for a test drive. I guess that makes me a die-hard biker :lol:

Pretty bikes. I never owned a Spectre, but I did have its predecessor- a '77 KZ1000. I still have a soft spot for those bikes.

They are beautiful bikes......A close up of mine is on the second page of this thread under 1982 KZ740 N1 Spectre.

The weather is supposed to be nice this weekend. I hope that I will get to ride some.
