Here's my 1999 W650 and 1972 H1 500. The picture was taken last year on the way to an annual triple/Z1 meeting in Gudbrandsdalen, Norway. Pictured is my dad and my brother in a small place called Helvete, just north of Lillehammer (The olympic venue in '94). Helvete actually means hell in Norwegian.

Basically from late april through september. If we're lucky, early april to the middle of october. Way too short season :( The good thing is that you get to do a little resto work during the winter and look forward to taking the bikes out again. I could easily do without the snow and the degrees below though...

Nice bikes. Great picture.

Short riding seasons are good and bad. The good part is that the Winter break makes you really appreciate riding even more when you get back on the saddle come Spring time :) That said, I'll be moving to a warmer climate when the kids are out of the house 8)

Its funny Ken that you metion moving to a warmer climate. The Mrs and I are considering moving to the east side of the mountains where its warmer in the summer, colder in the winter but drier all the time.
