Ok first day out since October did the usual checked oil tire press exc. A little low on oil and toped it off started the bike and for about the first 30sec could hear what sounded like a lifter rattling in the front cylinder then it went away so Im thinging humm ok bike been sitting a while probably had to give it time to pump oil up to the top end. Went for a 40 mi ride and stopped at wifes work for lunch. Went to take off from there and now when I start the bike it sounds like a valve in the rear cylinder was stuck for the first 5 sec of start up and then it goes away. shut bike off and restarted and same thing but after looking into this a little more it almost sounds like the starter sol is not disengaging properly has anyone else had this problem?

I have also experienced the lifter bleed-down, and can assure you that it is normal, and usually clears up within a few miles of ride time.

Hopefully somone can chime in on the solenoid issue.
