Does anyone have a good technique for removing the old valve stem oil seals?
1980's KZ750.
Last time I did it I used pliers and they ended up all chewed up. Not that I'm going to re-use them, just thought
someone might have a quick and easier way.

There are tools for pulling those. They are like pliers but the tips are 1/2 rounded cups with ridges inside. Some like this,....and am not saying this particular one, is the right one. Just saying they are like this. Even with this, is not that simple, but it makes easier.

Here is a picture of what ended up doing the job. The oldest pos screw driver I could find, with a metal loop welded to the tip. Pull straight. Not one of the stem seals was damaged. The seals might possibly be re-useable should an emergency arise when parts become hard to source. Looney.
