I just installed the new trunk on my Versys. The bike looks so much better without it but the trunk is kinf of a bneccessity to me. I hate wearing a backpack so it is an acceptable compromise.

FWIW, I just strap a large tank bag on the back seat of my 650R for carrying "stuff". it's not quite as big, but it doesn't stick out as much either.

Glad you got it and like it. I like it better naked as well, so just leave it off when cruising, but it is nice to put all the clothes from the morning ride.

I got to take it out today with the truck. I did not notice any change in aerodynamics at all and when I caught my reflection in a shop window it did not look as bad as I thought it would.

The truck gets less obtrussive as time goes on and boy is it ever convenient. Was nice going to the comic shop nd the grocery store and then throwing stuff into it instead of carrying a backpack or shoving things inside my jacket.
