I have been playing around with my 82 Gpz750 trying to find alternative front ends but am coming up short. Looking to stiffen it up for racing in AHRMA vintage. Interested if anyone has used a suspension specialist that gets the vintage bike thing - making the most of what we have in these old bike. I know of Race Tech but interested if anyone else has recommendations or has worked with anyone else. Or at least if I could find someone who could comment on what I have and the limitations. Thanks.

Your RULEBOOK determines which front end you can use. Springs, Cartridge Emulators, and different levels of heavier oil is about it. And a fork brace. If you're not allowed a fork brace, I'd pay attention to a much heavier FENDER bracket.

If you're not allowed fork emulators, get a BUNCH of damping rods and experiment with welding up and drilling out new holes.

You have a rider who is consistent enough to show the difference in lap times and suspension feel, right? Otherwise it's just an academic exercise.
