I noticed that the rear shock on my 2005 VN2000 was set for a rider weighing 150 lbs. As I am significantly over that riding weight, how many turns of the retaining nut on the rear shock would = about 120lbs. more? Any ideas?
I'm 215 . I adjusted the nut almost to the max. And it's still bottoms up here and there. I ordered a better shocks wrench and will try to push the spring a little further maybe 2 mm more. If that's not gonna help there are aftermarket rear shock , but they cost like 650 and 950.
