I have read a few threads, especially DarkTuesday's VN800 build is very informative for my project. Although I will not turn my VN800 into a bobber, there are a lot of similarities (less is more)
As you can see in my intro I have build a Kawasaki before and for some reason it has become a Kawasaki again. My 3rd Kawasaki in 10 years or so. They just choose me it seems
A few weeks back I bought a VN800 via the internet, sight unseen for a very good price. Only had a video of the running bike. But the guy sounded trustworthy... Bike was transported to me (1500km) and here she is:
Stock standard! Except fro a few 'speed holes' in the mufflers, which caused some issues getting her a license plate. But nothing a MIG welder can't fix. So she is now registered and ready for the make-over
