Hi All,

I`m about to install a large windshield on my new Vulcan 1500 C.
I`m wondering how much wind buffeting will this cut down on?
Is it hard to install, and how do you like yours?

I`m also thinking about putting a light bar on at the same time.

Ya`ll got any pics?

Thanks in Advance

Chris :D

re

chris - just make sure you are loking over the screen not thru it when you are seated,
it will cut down down the wind to your chest alot but you may still get some buffeting
till you get set just right-prolly have to ride at hiway speed then move it up or down
a 1/4" or so and ride again-kind of a trial and error thing,and a 1/4" WILL make a difference

helmets and other factors determine how much you feel - but i would also get the lowers
cause they will really help on reducing turbulance behind the windshield.

not hard to install - maybe 30 min.

i'm getting ready to install one also on the 800 - but i've always hated windshields

i have the quick on-off ms 19" on mine and barley see over the screen while ridin around.if i had the stock seat...it would be too short but i changed out the seat w/ a corbin saddle...it sets me lower on the bike and the 19" is just right :)

you should go look at the chrome lowers at www.nationalcycle.com
Hi, I noticed on the Nationalcycle site that it says the the chrome lowers work with their windshield and light bar. Did you have theirs or the F&S

Thanks
