Has anyone installed the 900 Custom Chrome Belt Guard

I have not been able to find any pics on the net

I don't have any pics, but I installed one on my 900, you leave your plastic guard in place and the chrome metal one fits over it, attaches with double sided tape and a screw with retainer, wasn't really what I expected but it looks good, been on a couple of months and have had no problem with it.

I really would like to see a picture of this item on the 900. The pic on Meancycles website, I believe, isn't a 900 and does not show much detail.

Also, I am sure glad I came across this thread. I was seriously considering buying one of these but now that I see it is virtually a stick-on, I am not sure it is worth the $$$. Very disappointing.

I wanted the chrome belt cover but the cost just said "No way".

I thought about it and ,........took my cover off.
I think it makes the rear of the bike look a lot better. I left the the top chrome piece on.

I think you'll find it's more than some "plastic Stick on". Its actually a pretty heavy piece of metal. It does screw on but the 2 sided tape holds it in place. I sold mine (because I traded the bike) but I think if you see one on the bike you'd agree it looks pretty sharp!
