much brighter and better visability, tess the black hole is still there on highbeam but not nearly as bad, personally i would like to see kawasaki replace this reflector in favor of a standard smooth curve.
I think we are talking about two different things here.
the black hole cut off I thought you were talking about is on my low beam. I don't have a light bar yet to see further on low beam.
the cut off on mine is on low beam, the light shines out about 35-40 feet in front of me and then there is zero light after that.. I mean zero!!!!!!!!
you can see the seperation between the light and the dark, it just cuts off. you could shine it on a wall from 35-40 feet away and the light would be shining on the bottom of the wall near the ground and above that would be dark where it cuts off.
theres no way in hell I would ever see a deer until it was driving the bike itself..
I tryed aiming it up higher but then the high beam is shooting up in the sky. you can see how the reflector is cut when looking inside the headlight, its not the lens!
some say to just ride with high beams all the time but thats not good on the system when running a high watt bulb, you could do it with the stock bulb...
I agree with you on Kawi replacing the headlight. it needs to be just like a car headlight where it just shines out until it fades. I talked with my tech and we looked through his books and found one from Bosch. gonna try and get it soon.
