You will need to build a mount that sticks out of that hole in the front, so the winch sets out front of the Mule.
Keep a real wired jumper system handy to operate the winch when the remote conks out when the winch is buried under a couple feet of mud and slop and you will need to get to the real wires to get it to run. Also, the remote is the first thing to get lost in the drink when your hands are wet and slippery. My take is that remotes are great for TV, but not at all practical in the outdoors in real world conditions.
