65 degrees, bright sunshine, clear bright blue skys
rode out to the beach today, they finally opened the beach road to the public
its been 4 1/2 months since the storm, the gulf was spectacular, blue, green
turquoise, and the blinding white sand,it really looked like paradise

the beach homes however did'nt look so good, many piles of rubble still where
homes were and condos gutted to the third floor.still quite a mess out there
even after all this time.there were bikes everywhere,we swarmed the beach  there is no way we will be ready for spring break unless they really hustle

just a perfect day for riding, and everyone was waving

glad you were able to get out and ride some old stomping grounds Bike. This past week locally has been a heckofaweek. Freezing in the AM, warm & sunny in the PM and I'm stuck at a desk. I made my break yesterday tho to get some seat time in, it was great.

Glad you got out to enjoy "our" FL weather today Bike! It truly does look like paradise at Navarre beach as well. Simply gorgeous. Would be much better riding the bike to it though.... Soon enough though.

Nice day here in South Georgia also. Me and the wife rode up to Andersonville Historic Site. It's an old Civil War Prison Camp. Some 13000 prisoners died there. The cemetery is still being used for veterans. There's a musuem with lots of exhibits, very interesting place. Also rode on up to Montezuma and ate at Yoders Amish Resturant. Great food. I was going to take some pics, but I forgot to charge my camera batteries, and I only got a couple before it quit.

The ISO grips with the throttle boss really made a difference. No more hurting and stinging hands.

70's and sunny in Central Florida. Enjoyed a nice local ride in between house projects. Rode to East Coast (New Smynra Beach) last weekend. The tide was so high, you couldn't walk on the beach. I don't see how they will get the on-ramps restored before spring break.

Well at least I'm not in Alberta right now. It's not that cold here anymore, snow is pretty much all gone and I am still shooting for the March 01 fire up date.
