After a recent thread this question came up. It was posted that a Voyager or a Goldwing are not Baggers.

What do you consider a Bagger?

I¨ll better display my opinion here as well then... ;)

In my opinion, and apparently the American bagger mag, a bagger is a cruiser with hard case saddle bags (without top box or sissy) and sometimes with a wind shield.

Here is the Definition of a Bagger...

Bagger - A motorcycle equipped with saddlebags and other touring amenities.

My bike is certainly considered a bagger, in my book.

Ride Safe.

Always been my thought on the issue...though now that I think about it, its gotta be a cruiser. My bike, when I attach the bags, is NOT a bagger

I personally think a bagger is a motorcycle that has saddlebags (hard or soft) and/or other tour accessories.

Maybe the 'motorcycle community' is further compartmentalizing a bagger to be only hard bags with NO other tour accessories. Therefore when someone states that they have a bagger, the question must be asked, "What is YOUR definition of a bagger"?

I ride a bagger. Used to ride naked standards, and might still pick up an early 80s Suzuki or Kawi if I find one I like for the right price for short local rides, but I do like hard bags and a windshield too.

A bagger just has hard bags and when you add trunk it becomes a dresser since trunker sounds stupid
