The red plastic panels on my KLR250 are faded/sun bleached. Anything work on shining them up or just paint the with Krylon Fusion for plastic?
I'm leaning towards the paint...

Opinions/recomendations please

Blaster polish works very well on red paint. Never tried it on plastics. If you do go with the paint be certain it's all free of wax and scuffed.
Try a little rubbing or polishing compound on it, and if the color comes back up, wax it up real nice.
huh. Learned something new. Didn't know you could use rubbing compound on plastic. Thanks, I'll try that first.
there is some stuff called pro prep that will shine it up some, won't really bring back the color though.

Might want to try that in a place thats not obvious first. A glazing compound, or polishing compound might be something to try before a rubbing compound. I think turtle wax has a color wax for red.
