I rode home lastnight after dark, It was a 100 mile ride. As we all know the bugs at night are big suckers and I happened to have one splatter the forward exhaust pipe on my 1500 classic. It must've happened early on in the ride because it was cooked on but GOOD! Today after getting out to clean up my bike, I see this cooked mess on the pipe and it wasn't easy to get off. What is the method used by all of you to clean up this baked on mess? Thanks

Get some "Wipe Down" from the local shop. Spray the area, I mean really soak it good. Let it sit, then add a little elbow grease. Hope that works, it does for me.
