I'd actually like to see a thread about bikes with their owners/riders. but first I'd like to actually get somebody to take a picture of me on my bike.
Well if I could I would.................just trying to help....being new and all....... :p
Every time somebody is around to take a picture it is dark and won't come out well... dang daylight savings time.
No self timer on camera ?.

I don't know the whole song but it says something about Lubbock Tx............
wouldn't surprise me, seems like I remember a song that mentioned this city, but nothing is coming to mind.
I think Waylon Jennings(sp) sang it..................

Bored after only four months ? You've just reached your limits not the bikes. Could take years for you to get the most out of it. Any advanced rider training available where you are ? Any racing schools ? Your brother could have used some training also, the Gixxer should actually be a bit faster than your bike. Rider skill plays a big role in how fast a bike will go.

My zx1100 sitts resting in my garage till spring we have two feet of snow on the ground. I live in Edmonton Alberta Canada. This sucks no more riding for four more months. this does give me time to rebuild my LT500R quad racer. Not much for twisty roads up here. so my ride is built for speed. I was clocked this summer at 340 kms hr by a R.C.M.P..(no ticket he is a friend)

Lets keep the bragging to a minimum please. Don't want the site to turn into another I can go faster than you site.

BTW, 210 mph, yeah right !

R.C.M.P officer, yeah right !

Riding is a barrel of fun, no need to go extreme to enjoy it.

Actually, I've been thinking of a ZX with a raked out front fork, ape hanger handlebars, studded leather seats with billet backrest and rack plus a nice set of leather saddlebags with a lot of fringe. Forward controls with floorboards and heel toe shifter. Finish it off with four straight pipes stacked one over the other. Change the wheels to solid billet jobs.

Should stand out in a crowd.

Mine swipes the floor with his SRAD Gixxer. They have both been rolling roaded and hear are the specs and results

1999 SRAD GSXR600
 Full Blue Flame Stainless Steel Exhaust system with twin spout titanium Can
 K&N filter
 Dyno jetted and balanced carbs
 Nikko G-Pack CDI Tuning box

on the rolling road it had 93.9 BHP and a top speed of 167mph

2001 ZX6-R Ninja J2
 Yoshimura Titanium End Can

on the rolling road it had 100.4 BHP and a top speed of 170mph

Mine is quick for a ZX6 and i have taken it to its limits, could do with some more grip and i dont like the way you need to kepp the smaller sized engines on high revs to get the power out of the corners. i need summit with a bit more grunt, would love a V-Twin

Now I'm not anti ZX6 but the fact that a stock gixxer has more power than the "improved" gixxer you described, I would think that whoever tuned it screwed up.

Shame it's not available for a comparison, would like to see the results if you where to ride the gixxer and your bro the ZX6 and see who comes out ahead. While riding safely within the speed limits of course.
