I've only seen a couple of these Kawasaki Drifters out on the roads and they're pretty darn cool IMHO.
I'm actually kind of surprised that Kawasaki had the balls to go out on a limb and build this type of bike, seems people either love 'em or hate 'em. Really brave move on Kawasaki's part IMHO.
Do you suppose that they didn't sell all that well and were consequently put out to pasture?
I'd like to find a 1500cc version of this bike in a nice retro-approved duo-tone color. And put a nice set of after-market pipes on it, something that sounds ballsy and retro-looking too. Maybe a 2-into-1 with a fishtail tip. That would be awesome.
I suppose that they're a pretty good deal if you're lucky enough to come across one that's up for sale?
Were they built from 1999-2004? Any chance that Kawasaki might get into building these again?
