People that hate the drifter think its a metric copy and thats as far as they can see into it.

i think kawasaki knew the drifters time had come when they got wind some investors got involved in the return of indian.

If I live near Toronto and had a bit of spare cash at my disposal, I'd be checking this one out. Do you think that that's the original paint scheme or did this guy pay to get it redone?

Super low mileage and all dressed up. Sweet deal IMHO.

Did Indian really sue Kaw? I'm not sure they would have a leg to stand on. The Drifter only copied the looks of the very old Indians and came out before the current Indian company was established.

I love the looks of the Drifter, but wouldn't want one as my only bike because I don't think they don't look right with saddlebags and the dual seat. I'd love to have one as a second bike though.

if they did sue then i guess all metric cruisers better lose the over fuel tank instrument assy or the HD police are gonna come after them.
