I have 91 vn 750 with a maintenance free battery. I have it in a unheated garage all winter. Tank is filled do I need to hook battery up to a charger or do any other prep before putting it away till spring? Thanks

Change oil and filter, add fuel stabilerzer to a full tank, get tires off the ground (you can use a 2x4), drain carbs, cover exhaust outlet, cover up bike, and buy a battery tender.

I think Atomic about said it all, but if you do cover it up, DON'T use a plastic tarp since it will hold in moisture, and be sure to get all bugs off the paint and windshield before putting it away too.
