Hi all, new to this forum and to riding my 2009 vn900, and loving it!! I'm somewhat familiar with basic wiring. But I've been reading many forum posts, which mentioned being cautious what is using battery and that it can be turned off when bike is off. Now I've read that having a fuse between radio or lights and battery is safer for battery.

Can someone explain what the fuse function and the adapters function is?

I want to splice the radio into the positive line of the glow lights which have a fuse between lights and battery. But now I'm confused!

Does the splice sit between the radio and fuse or between fuse and battery?

Thanks for your guidance!
