I was thinking the guy might have had nitrious, it'd get him up there on speeds and is much cheaper than turbos and other upgrades.QKENUF4U said:there are so many factors that scream BULL$HIT about this whole deal. a guy on another board lives in that area and heard the an interview with this guy. he was on an RC51 which unless HIGHLY MODIFIED (turbo etc) wont even do 200mph. plus the cops reaction time with his finger on the stopwatch etc. etc. etc.
till i have all the facts i wont believe he was doing over 200mph.
no matter what he was hauling A$$ and you have to remember lifes little words..........
YOU PLAY, YOU PAY
not sure how ya figure that. if you are running 180mph at redline then NOS is NOT going to help you go faster for the simple fact you have NO MORE RPMS to climb.Green Knight said:Nitrious would get the trick done.
My bike maxes at 180 and I'm not red lined. I'm sure it has another 10 to 20 MPH more if it had the power. As far as the guy going 205... You realise that if the guy using the stop watch to time him was a fraction of a second off in the quarter mile time it could drop 10 to 20 MPH off his actual speed.QKENUF4U said:
you fail to take into account the 10% error in speedos so thats not ACTUAL MPH thats just INDICATED speed.Green Knight said:One of the things I read said it was a CBR 1000RR, but maybe it was an RC51. 205 isn't really that hard to get, like I said in another post I can get my stock 9R to 180. Nitrious would get the trick done.
