theres a member here with an 87 A2 that he's parting out, try asking him.

 

lawnmaster you are the only person i can find that was parting out an 87?

Now I think I might need pickup coils first as that was the only thing I didnt check and I believe they are grounded!

If you can´t find these parts, you may try fitting a ZX11 ignition system. My igniter box ran bad and I couldn´t find another one here in Brazil, so I fitted in a ZX-11 igniter system. The motor is basically the same, even the pick-up-coil will fit right in. I just need to adjust the electrical conections.
