Jeb is just a LITTLE excited about the EX250R, NINJA 250R, or ZX-2R. He's at least trying to set up a site to get people enthused about the bike. Even Kawasaki is calling the bkie a NINJA 250R, but when you look at the little white tag on the frame it is listed as an EX250...what's with that? It's a bad thing when the Company is "pushing" a name then in fine print leaving it with the same designation. With the public pushing for a better bike it could happen. Why not continue to push for EFI and and ECU? Seeing that it's only competition is Apirlia they need to do something. Even Honda is putting EFI on a 50CC scooter...LET's Rally the NINJA riders and email in for the EFI and ECU units...EFI has to be cheaper than multi carbs...ECU would allow mapping from city driving suburban driving or even all the way to racetrack riding...hmmm...maybe Jeb has the right idea...and just needs some support.
I EX line of bikes is a design that hasn't changed in a long time. For them to put EFI on it would mean that they would re-design the bike. If it took Kawi 8 years to put a full liter class bike in WSB (let alone re-design the 750 they were using) then I really doubt they are going to change anything on the EX's.
EVEN THOUGH Suzuki and Kawasaki share information seems that Suzuki has changed their 500 and 600 to full fairing...the 600 is now using Titanium valves...things ARE changing...just don't know how long before Kawasaki will change their 500...it needs a face lift, and the 250 is due some changes as well...
