I'm getting really impatient to buy this bike. Does anybody here have any sort of insider information on when it will be released? All I know is it is supposed to be this month. (March) I want it now, won't settle for anything less. My dealer says I get the first one but he can't tell me when that will be. I emailed Kawasaki Headquarters and haven't gotten a reply.

I just talked to your dealer and he said he's shipping your bike this way. :)

Just kidding Tim! I'm sure your dealer is as anxious to sell you one as you are to get it. Hang in there...it'll show up soon.

Hey Whistle! I know where you are. Have you got one of these? I'm willing to come and get it. I was raised around Lewiston, now living north of Vancouver.

Well...well...well...small world, eh? :)

I drive a 1500 and 750 Vulcan. Someday if I get the bug for a V2K I may find one coming home with me but for now...I'm good with what I have.

You should give spok a shout as he lives in Mt Vernon. In fact there is a get together this July in Red Lodge Montana and your more than welcome to come along. That'd be a great way to break in the new beast. :)

The Vulcan 2000 Classics and Vulcan 2000 Classic LT's are shipping now. We
just got our bikes about 10 days ago, and I am now riding a silver 2000
Classic. Awesome bike!! We received our first 2000 Classic LT early last
week, so I know they are shipping out now.

There will be a week or so where some dealers receive them first, but
very soon all dealers will have their first shipments. We try to ship as
close to the same day to all dealers as possible, but sometimes a dealer is
closed ( on Monday) , or chooses to delay shipment for a week or two ( for
financial or space reasons), and it's often easier to just say " Kawasaki
hasn't shipped them yet. They are coming!!

Sales on both models has already started nationwide. And the weather is
just getting right for spring rides, so I think everyone will see them in
stores, and out on the road really
soon.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I now have hope. I'll go nag the dealer today. Maybe they didn't think I was serious when I told them I had the cash and was ready to go. I'll buy the first one that comes within my reach here in the Northwest. Any offers?
I can understand how we would be later getting the bikes in since they have to come here by wagon train over pretty rough terrain.

When I got mine a year ago, I was told it would be in the last of March, first of April, didn't arrive at the dealer until May 9th and I finally got to ride it out the door on the 13th as it took them awhile to set it up. I added lots of bling so I didn't mind, I was just glad it finally arrived. That being said, it will arrive. :)

I don't know if I can wait that long. I've already waited for over 33 years, since I got married, and I don't want to wait another minute longer. Now the kids are grown and I get to do something for myself. This is it and I'm not waiting. Anybody in the Northwest, I'll buy it if you've got it. I'll write you a check next Monday.
