Heres Photos Of The Underside Of The 900 Seat. I Used Sheetm. Screws To Hold It In Place Until The Epoxy Hardened. I Used Jell Epoxy Hold It Would Stay In Place Better. Use Spray Adh. To Glue The Pieces Of Foam Together. Draw On The Seat With A Black Marker To Get The Shape You Are Going For, Use An Electric Filet Knife For The Heavy Cutting And 35 Grit Sandpaper On An Angle Grinder( 3inch Disc) For The Contouring And Shaping, 80 Grid Sandpaper For The Finishing Of The Foam. The Foam Has To Look Smooth Or The Lines Will Show Up Under The Cover. Go Low, Start Thick, You Cant Put The Foam Back On If You Get Too Much. Practise Shaping On The Foam You Are Not Using.
Now, Thats The 900 Seat, The Back Had To Be Higher To Coverup That Ugly Hump In The Rear Fender For That Factory Latch.
Now, Are You Making One For The 800a? I Didnt Put An Extention On The Bottom Side Of That Seat. Let Me Know If You Want Some Detail On That Seat.
Good Luck And Go Slow,,,
