I broke one of the ones that came with my atv boots, and autozone ordered me some for cheap. Will they fit? Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks in advance!
Can car cv boot clamps from autozone fit an atv cv boot?

I don't see why a hose clamp wouldn't work. I don't think an ATV runs at speeds where it would cause any sort of vibration. If you do need a CV clamp, measure the diameter of the boot and you should be able to cross-reference it to the correct size one. IIRC you also need a special tool to install the CV clamps.
Hose clamps quash the upper lip on the cv boot, and I dont think itll seal as good. Man, I am a noob with 4wd atvs, and atvs in general, but I am excellent with the old 2stroke motocross bikes. Atvs are like learning a new language, and I feel like a total square when I write these posts.
As long as the clamps they are ordering are the universal type, they'll work.
The one's specific for the bayou are a "lever" type of cv clamp. In other words, the clamp diameter is a set size and there is a lever built into it to pull it tight. Kind of like set of visegrips but without the ability to turn the bolt at the back to adjust the size, it's fixed.
The universal type are more like a screw band clamp only you can only screw the screw one way. They'll tighten down on a 6" boot or a 2" boot but once you've cinched them, they're done...
To anyone interested: The 'speedi-boot!' brand universal cv boot clamps work wonderfully, and NO SPECIAL TOOLS are needed. Just a pair of pliers and a screwdriver. Best $3.99 Ive spent yet! I'll have this damned bayou running by the weekend. FREEDOM!!!!!!!!!!!
