If it wasn't for that very fact my wife would have never let me get the bike as a matter of fact she is the one who talked me into going with a new bike and she can't wait till I put her on the back but that will be in a while want to get good and used to her first

 

My first bike was a mid-sixties Honda s90, similar to the one pictured above except mine had a leading link front suspension. I was about 14, the bike rarely ran, and it certainly did NOT get me chicks!

I think it depends on what the guy is doing on the motorcycle. In the case of my buddy.... it attracted his wife and she wasn't amused. The gal he was "entertaining" wasn't amused either. Come to think of it, the cops weren't amused either........
yeah, it works sometimes.

agreed. i noticed right away taht i was getting checked out on the road after getting back into biking and by some young ones too. hell im over fifty, over weight, and dam near over the hill but it still gets me noticed. im happpily married so the attention is just ego boosting but another variation of "ITS THE RIDE STUPID" is "ITS THE VIBRATION STUPID".

now be honest guys and gals. have you not noticed that your woman was a letle more in the mood after after a nice ride???:biggrin: :biggrin: :biggrin:

 

It has worked for me several times through the years. Once i drove my tractor to pick up a girl for a first date, we were together for 7 years.

 

My ex wife I met in high school didnt mind that I rode but would not get on it. Had no interest in it.
I actually started dating my wife (2nd) because she always asked me for a ride on my sportbike. she rides now too
I have had several girls yell out there cars nice bike.
So it depends on the girl / woman

I'm right there with you.. on all accounts. My wife was attracted to it when we first met (1975), and onlly enjoys an occasional ride now, usually to look at new houses. Like we can afford one.

My wife works nights at the hospital. One night she ran out of the house forgetting her coffee. A perfect excuse for me to hop on the bike. I propped the travel mug up in my backpack and rode it over to her. She took me around and introduced me to some of the nurses she works with and I later learned that several of them said it was "so hot" that I rode a motorcycle. I ride to work on my bike and change in my office. When I walked into work on Friday, one of the female staff members saw me coming in and had this big smile on her face. I said, "What are you smiling at?" in a joking way and she just said, "Look at you ... I can't say what I'm thinking because you'll sue me for sexual harrassment." I'd have to say, yeah, I think women like guys on motorcycles. I was also in a running store picking up some new gear (I rode my motorcycle there) and some guy starting making a move on me too! Hey, to each their own but I ran out of there pretty quick (I highly recommend the Asics Kayanos!).

Julie, we do love women on bikes. So much so that we would even ride behind them..... and the fun part is holding on for dear life.

I've had 2 such encounters in the month I've owned my bike, as opposed to zero for the previous 20 years that I havent had a bike.

the first time, a gay guy came up, talked about my bike's sex appeal, and offered to walk me to my dorm room.

the next time, someone left a number and "hot, Call!!" on my bike. I called the number and it was some damned indian guy.

what do you play? im into carvin/taylor guitars -the Beatles and classic rock. gotta figure out how to get the amp/guitar on the bike somehow.

was having quality time with the teen daughter coming thru daytona area. two bikes behind us, one had a 6 ft tall raven haired beauty in leather halter n leather pants with a headband and hair blowin in the breeze ridin (of course) a HSD sportster. absolute classic calendar type moment........uh yeah, i like girls on bikes:biggrin: :biggrin: :biggrin: :biggrin: :biggrin:
