Hi all this is my first post I need help finding the name of the colour of my bike as I need a replacement fender painted to match, it's a 2003 vn800 Classic I live in the U.K. and my bike is a import which is where I'm having problems as in the uk there was only black , red or silver and mine is a purple colour which you could get as a stock colour outside the uk. If anyone could help me with the actual name of the colour it would be much appreciated . Thanks to all and keep riding

Are you sure it's a 2003? I say that because when you go to the link Rusty posted and plug in the specifics, there's nothing close to your picture.
But if you put in the year as 2004, you get metallic nocturne blue. That's what I have, although the detailing is in gold, not red. The color is lighter in real life than the displayed color chip. Your picture doesn't really look purple to me, it looks like mine, though the red detailing may fool your eye a little into thinking it shades slightly purple. Maybe you should post another pic?
Anyway, here's my 2004 VN800B:

And I was thinking maybe it's really a 2002 because that exact colour of purple was available that year. See this link below.
