I did not know that 1 T Fr. = 2-3 T Rr. Thanks for the info on that. I am tightening the chain per the manual, I put it on it's stand and even use a chain alignment tool just to make sure that the rear wheel is as perfectly straight as possible. I just got the bike in December and have put about 300 or so miles on it. The chain was stretched when I got it. It has came off on me 2 times with no wreck (hasn't wrapped up against anything). I just know the 3rd time will be the charm (wreck) and I can't take that chance with my 6 or 8 year old on the back of the bike. I just need a little more top end, lower RPM at highway speeds so from what your telling me I should do just fine with a 15/42. I have even seen rear sprockets on JT that were a 38 which I'm not really comfortable with. I don't really want to go any more than that due to losing take off (torque), it doesn't have much to begin with! LOL! I have a NOS kit to install, got it from Sigma6 on E-BAY. I'm about to order a rejetting kit from them also. They take every variable, (mods, what you do with the bike, original specs., etc...) to make a kit just for your bike. I believe it even has at least 5 more mods to do to the carb so I'm going to talk to them here shortly about the gearing. The NOS kit came with 8 CO2 looking cartridges (not a big kit is what I'm saying) and I got it just to have a little fun every once in a while. LOL! I ran 110 Octane in my bike for about 2 1/2 weeks until my plug blew apart, no engine damage somehow, just turned my exhaust snow white inside and my exhaust valve snow white! No smoke, bike felt fine after switching back to 93 Octane. I was running .6 of 110 and filling it up the rest of the way with 93 so that was a bit much for my poor little 125cc engine! LMAO! Lessons Learned! I'm used to cars, this is my 1st bike, finally, at the age of 34. The NOS won't be used very often due to not wanting to blow the bike up! More of a conversation piece. Being an out of work Professional Auto-Technician I know and have seen the effects of "stupid" or "people with a lack of common sense" to be a little nicer about it using NOS! It is something not to play around with if you don't know what your doing! I have built "HOT RODS" for years, never had NOS so for $45 I couldn't pass it up! That would been me not using my "common sense"! LOL! I will talk to Z1 since you hold a high opinion of them. The lowest cc's that they listed was 200cc and up I believe. Let me know your thoughts on this if you don't mind. I am planning on building my own handmade Conical Air Injection System, "cheaper than $250.00"! I also am more than likely going to relocate the battery since it sits in the same box as the old air box. Just trying to clean up the look, Emissions were broken so I removed them and I am going to be building an extension for my forward controls since I'm 5'10" and I feel like a Monkey humping a bananna on it! LMAO!!! Going to modify the seat so that it sits lower, making custom fenders, taking off a lot of the "plastic chrome", I think it looks a lot better that way. Anyway I think you know the direction I'm taking with the bike, hate my handle bars, took the windshield off, etc... Eventually I will build a full custom, stretch the frame and widen it, find a used larger engine, preferably a HD V-Twin, (hope that don't **** ya'll off too much)! LOL! I have the bike down to the frame right now but it wouldn't take a day or 2 to have it back together and running. Didn't mean to throw so much at you, got excited thinking about it! Anyway, hit me back up when you get a chance Bro and I appreciate your help on this! Going to open up a full custom shop where I do everything from Mopeds to Hot Rods so wish me luck on this venture I'm about to persue which is "MY DREAM"! Later, AROD
