Hey Folks, I just got registered on the forum. I am using the forum to research the Vulcan 2000 Classic LT. I have an agreed upon deal with my local Kawasaki dealer. I have not ridden in 12 years and was a bit concerned about the size of the Vulcan 2000 Classic LT. It is a beast which is part of the appeal. My dealer let me ride it around the parking lot. I found it very easy to handle. A couple of issues have come up. #1 The back wheel bearing had a history which I understand Kawasaki remedied by re-engineering it. #2 One owner complained the fuel tank cap leaked. I would think that would be an easy fix. #3 Some of the Vulcans have loud engine noises. A forum poster said it was caused by the chain driven cams. The 2000 Classic LT's cams are driven by a pushrod. Does anyone know of any other issues? I am very close on this purchase and getting excited. I am ready to ride. Thanks
